PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile sun visor that prevents burrs, if any, made on its core during molding from sticking out through the surface of its sheath, and a die device for molding the sun visor. SOLUTION: A sun visor core is molded in a die device 1 that is divisible into plural bodies, and a movable die 1b adapted to move back and forth inside one die body 11 , so as to have a mirror mounting plate 4 inserted therein and a recession in its mirror unit mounting portion. The core is formed with a groove properly sectioned on its surface brought into contact with the border between the movable die 1b and the die body 11 around the movable die 1b, in which groove the resin that has got into the narrow gap defined between the die body 11 and the movable die 1b is allowed to form burrs. The burr tips thus never stick out through the surface of the core or never project a sheath covering the core, serving the production of an automobile sun visor with better appearances. |
