The novel compounds of formula (I) of the instant invention are peripherally selective kappa opioid agonists useful in the treatment of arthritis, hypertension, pain, inflammation, migraine, inflammatory disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, IBS, and psoriasis. The compounds, novel intermediates useful in their preparation, and pharmaceutical compositions containing them are part of the invention. |
