POLYESTER RESIN COMPOSITION AND PRODUCTION THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyester resin compsn. improved in thermal stability without detriment to its excellent moldability. SOLUTION: This compsn. comprises at least one polyester resin (A) selected from among polyalkylene terephthalates and polyalklyene naphthalates and a mixture (B) comprising a polyethylene wax (B1) having a mol.wt. of about 500-12,000 and an antioxidant (B2) such as a hindered phenol antioxidant. The wt. ratio of ingredient A to ingredient B is about (98.0/2.0)-(99.99/0.01). The amt. of antioxidant B2 contained is 0.002-1 pt.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. wax B1.
