PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of preventing miscopying in executing both-side copying by detecting the fact that a back paper is used for a recording paper. SOLUTION: A paper condition detecting part 12 detects a paper condition from the detecting pin number, position, length, etc., of a size bulletin board and outputs the paper condition to a paper condition storage part 13. This paper condition storage part 13 stores the paper condition for each paper feeding cassette. A back paper information detecting part 14 fetches paper information from the paper condition storage part 13, to check whether a back paper cassette is obtained or not and output the result of the decision to a back paper information display part 20, as display information such as a lighting signal. A back paper information deciding part 15 decides whether the paper feeding cassette corresponding to the size and direction of a paper sheet selected when an applied mode is of a both-side copying mode corresponds to the back paper cassette or not and outputs the result of the decision to the back paper display part 20 as the lighting signal, etc. |
