PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the controllability and running stability of a vehicle from being degraded at the time of turning, and concurrently reduce its fuel consumption and the quantity of exhaust gas. SOLUTION: It is so constituted that the input rotation of an engine is actuated in gear shifting in a stepless manner so as to be outputted to the side of each driving wheel by means of a continuously variable transmission (HMT) provided with a static hydraulic type transmission (HST) in parallel, where a mechanical type transmission (MT) is interposed between an input shaft and an output shaft. When it is judged based on a steering angle (θS) that a vehicle is in a turning condition (S1), in order to allow the quantity of driving torque to be increased (S2 and 3) in response to an increase in resistance (ΔT) accompanied by steering operations, the change gear ratio (R) of the HMT is changed to a target change gear ratio (R*) at the side of a small value (S4 and 8), and furthermore, an engine revolution (Nen) is changed to a target engine revolution (Nen*) at the side of a great value in such a way that vehicle running speed is prevented from being lowered down accompanied by change in change gear ratio. |
