PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-luminous type traffic sign device which can be constructed and installed easily, ensures simultaneous or sequential turn-on and turn-off as specified, and facilitates alteration and setting of the on-off pattern at the site. SOLUTION: Self-luminous traffic signs 1 belonging to one group have its respectively allocated on-off pattern stored in memory to make simultaneous or sequential on-off operations, and on the basis of the stored pattern, turn-on and -off of these signs 1 are performed by feeding on-off control signals S from a controller 2 to the signs 1 through wireless transmission of signals. Accordingly the on-off timings are not individual but are synchronous in conformity to the previously stored pattern. Because the on-off control signals S are sent wirelessly between the signs 1, the works of constructing are easy, and the pattern can be altered easily if several sorts of on-off patterns are put in memory previously. |
