PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain translation data in quantities. SOLUTION: This dictionary structuring support system is provided with a document input means 15 which specifies ULR's on a document screen of a hypertext and takes in documents regarding homepages of different languages from WWW servers, an identical content decision part 16 which compares data on image data, graphs, patterns, link destination, etc., of the homepages of both the languages taken in by the document input means and decides whether or not they have the same meaning and contents, and a means 15 which extracts a pair of translation data of the original text and its translation from the documents regarding the homepages of both the languages when identity is decided and registers them in a translation dictionary. |
