HYDROMECHANICAL DEVICE FOR SETTING PACKERS IN OIL AND GAS WELLS

FIELD: investigation and repairs of development wells; applicable in separation of wells bore in carrying out of process operation. SUBSTANCE: device consists of flexible member, control instrument with motor and cable for lowering and power supply to control instrument. Flexible member has lower and upper movable conical sleeves. They have left- and right-hand threads for moving of sleeves in opposite direction with one-sided rotation of motor axle. This axle also has left- and right-hand threads which ensure full entrance of conical sleeves into flexible member and radial expansion of this member at two levels. This results in circular hydraulic seal between well wall and flexible member. EFFECT: higher operating reliability of packer, simplified design and reduced metal content. 2 dwgn
