REACTOR FOR REALIZATION OF AUTOHYDROLISIS PROCESS USING EXPLOSIVE DESINTEGRATION BY SUDDEN STEAM PRESSURE REDUCTION

This invention relates to a periodic operation reactor for auto-hydrolysis with steam detonation, which can be used to recycle plant biomass containing cellulose, hemicellulose, and lignite, as well as for the recycling of plant biomass containing other polysaccharides (for instance, starch). The reactor (Fig.1) is proposed, in which the water steam feeding system consists of a reactor housing, which is covered by a comb from the outside, and tubes, positioned inside the housing, which are attached to it. Each tube contains many slanted drills, through which the steam flows under pressure into the mass to be hydrolysed, which is contained in the reactor. It ensures heating of the input material in the reactor up to a working temperature in a short time, regularity of its thermal treatment, as well as decreased technical destruction of the input material, the amount of harmful substances created by it in the flue gasses, and concentration of toxic compounds in the end-product.
