FIELD: rocketry. SUBSTANCE: engine includes combustion chamber and inserted powder charge with thermoplastic armour. Inner surface of chamber is provided with at least two circular grooves where rings made from elastic-deformation material, mainly from rubber, are mounted; inner diameter of rings is lesser than outer diameter of charge by (0.3-0.5) of diameter of ring cross section. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of axial fixation of inserted charge of solid propellant in combustion chamber due to fixation which does not impair serviceability in case of change of ambient temperature. 3 dwgr
