<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the omission of an image part in its reduction mode and also to reduce the thickening of the image part in its enlargement mode by preparing a vertical reduction part which corrects an image of a 2nd line and a horizontal reduction part which corrects an image of a 2nd pixel. SOLUTION: A reduction/filter circuit reduces the images to be written into a frame memory in both vertical and horizontal directions and also performs the filtering processing for the lines and pixels which are omitted in a reproduction mode. The reduction/filter circuit includes a vertical reduction/filter circuit 110 and a horizontal reduction/filter circuit 112 set in the vertical direction. Then an image of a 2nd line is corrected by interpolating the image data on plural lines including a 1st line that is omitted by reduction and the 2nd line adjacent to the 1st line, and an image of a 2nd pixel is corrected by interpolating the image data on plural pixels including a 1st pixel that is omitted by horizontal reduction and the 2nd pixel adjacent to the 1st pixel respectively.</p> |
