摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the proper capacity of torque for all over the life of a transmission by executing adaptive control for the capacity of torque to its frictional elements, and changing control pressure. SOLUTION: Hydraulic pressure to be supplied to the frictional elements of an automatic transmission is adjusted by a self control type fuzzy controller. Hydraulic pressure to be supplied to the frictional elements of the automatic transmission is computed by the use of first fuzzy logic systems 108 and 116 is response to turbine revolution speed and engine torque. An adaptive pressure adjusting value used for the first fuzzy logic systems 108 and 116 is corrected using a pressure correction value computed by the use of a third fuzzy logic system in response to a deviation from a target value for gear shifting time, and a ratio. Pressure for the frictional elements to be used for the subsequent gar shifting, is determined by the use of a pressure correction value after correction has been over.
