PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form dots of a good shape by a simple structure by setting the size of a toner passage hole in the direction perpendicular to the recording member transport direction larger as compared with the size in the recording member transport direction. SOLUTION: In a toner control member, the size W1 of multiple independent toner passage holes 31 in the direction perpendicular to the recording paper transport direction, that is, in the main scanning direction B, is set at a value higher than the size W2 in the subscanning direction A. And, the size W1 in the main scanning direction B is, when dots are formed on recording paper due to the adhesion of a toner passing the toner passage holes 31, set so that the length of the dot in the main scanning direction B and the length in the sub-direction A may be equal to each other. The toner that passes through the toner passage holes 31 while recording paper is transported, can prevent dots formed on the recording paper from being lengthened in the recording paper transport direction and thereby makes it possible to form dots of a good shape with a simple structure. |
