FIELD: metal working, namely rigging for securing tools. SUBSTANCE: body of collet chuck includes axial opening for cylindrical stem of tool and slit for receiving square driven part of back end of cylindrical stem. At least two axial slits are provided in back end portion of chuck body. Segments restricted by slits are arranged one opposite to another and have flat clamping surfaces for securing square driven portion of tool stem.
