FIELD: metal working tools, namely changeable hard-alloy cutting tips used at milling grooves whose worked surface is arranged practically normal relative to basic one. SUBSTANCE: cutting tip has cutting edge including set of successively arranged buildup cutting edges and intermediate edges. Each buildup edge is inclined from its front end towards base of cutting tip. Front end of each buildup edge, except first one, is joined with back end of previous buildup edge by means of intermediate edge shifted relative to joined back end in direction from tip base. EFFECT: improved design providing increased axial rake angle without lowering height of cutting tip and number of its cutting edges. 8 cl, 3 dwga |
