FIELD: force measuring technology. SUBSTANCE: two piezoelectric elements interconnected acoustically by means of coupling member are positioned in parallel to each other and provided with four external cover-plates. Generators of electric oscillations are connected to two external cover-plates of piezoelectric elements, and signal comparison unit connected to measuring instrument is coupled to other two external cover-plates. Piezoelectric elements are installed on flexible members having attachment facilities. Coupling member is represented by air layer between piezoelectric elements. Force being measured is proportional to variation of air layer value. EFFECT: enhanced sensitivity. 1 dwgi
