Protection of objects against corrosion, by solvents, involves applying multilayer coating comprising primary layer, layer of vinyl ester, at least one cloth with high resistance and a second layer of vinyl ester. Process is claimed in which a second woven cloth of thickness 1.5 mm is deposited on the object before application of final layer of vinyl ester of mass 250 g/m<2>.
