FUNCTIONAL JOINT OF MOTOR-ROAD BRIDGE

FIELD: road and bridge construction. SUBSTANCE: functional joint of motor-road bridge includes linear metal members in the form of small beams made fast to span and rested upon abutment of bridge via supporting part, longitudinal metal members joined one to another and to edging by means of rubber inserts. Metal longitudinal members are put on small beams with the aid of bearing gaskets discretely arranged over their lengths with formation of clearances between them which summary value does not exceed summary value of clearances between upper parts of metal longitudinal members in zone of placement of rubber inserts. Metal longitudinal members are linked to proper bearing gaskets with use of joints. Surfaces of metal longitudinal members and bearing gaskets in zone of their resting against the latter may be flat or have quadratic curve section and joint linking them has vertical axis of turn lying in symmetry plane of metal longitudinal member.
