FIELD: waste water treatment. SUBSTANCE: waste water is treated in several consecutive steps: it is aerated, clarified, finally aerated, and additionally settled. All steps are carried out in the same basin separated by partitions into corresponding zones. Partitions are moveable to enable the volumes of zones to be varied.
