An ice cream holder comprises a body portion (14) having a lower opening (18) for receiving the base of an ice cream cone. An inner wall portion (20) providing an upper opening for receiving the ice cream cone defines a catchment area (24) in conjunction with an outer wall portion (16). Thus, an annular recess is provided for catching melted ice cream that may flow from the upper rim of an ice cream cornet located in the holder.
