Conventional illuminated signboard is mostly based on a so-called edge surface illumination system, and a shade of a floor or desk lamp has been used for simply obtaining an indirect illuminating effect. An illuminated signboard and a shaded desk/floor lamp which are formed by carving characters, symbols and figures on a transparent acrylic plastic plate used in an advertizement board and a floor or desk lamp, which are capable of displaying colored, clear and fantastic images on a display frame of the plastic plate by utilizing the reflection and refraction of rays of light transmitting the plate, and which withstand a long-term use, wherein characters, symbols and figures or a combination thereof are carved on a front or rear surface of each of a plurality of closely laminated transparent acrylic plastic plates (2, 3, 4) constituting an advertizement board body, each of edge surfaces of which is provided with a groove, various color sheets are pasted on an inner surface of the groove to form a surface for incident rays of light and dimming means is connected to light sources. |
