Ventilation for WC

The top of a WC cistern is fitted with an air extraction duct (12) which leads to a ventilator (13). The extracted air generates a negative pressure above the water level in the cistern and this is connected to the WC through the flushing pipe (4). The flushing pipe normally has an air connection between the WC and the cistern. The connection to the top of the cistern is via an adapter (11) which can be fitted to existing units. The ventilator can be fitted with an inlet manifold to vent other units.
