<p>Stable solutions of bromonitromethane are prepared and shown to be useful as an antimicrobial in a broad spectrum of applications. Bromonitromethane is applied using a stable aqueous solution or is generated from products which acts as bromonitromethane donors. Bromonitromethane solutions are stabilized by the addition of a mineral acid.</p> |
