The present invention relates generally to a method of regulating interferon functional activity and agents used for the same. More particularly, the present invention contemplates a method of regulating the functional activity of type I interferon by administering a soluble type I interferon receptor, and still more particularly IFNAR 2a. The method of the present invention is useful, inter alia, in a range of therapeutic and prophylactic applications. |
