<p>A method for the diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis characterized by amplifying the PCR genomic DNA of a subject with the use of a gene causative of rheumatoid arthritis and located no more than ± 1 centimorgan apart from a DNA sequence hybridizable with microsatellite markers D1S214, D1S253, D8S556, DXS1001, DXS1047, DXS1205, DXS1227 and/or DXS1232 and at least one of the above microsatellite markers as primers, and comparing the resultant PCR products with the corresponding PCR products of a normal subject.</p> |
