This is a new multi-strand extrusion head (1) manufacturing profiles, especially those used in tyre manufacture. It has a main fixed flange (3) into which extruders (5) discharge. Its closed head (2) includes flow channels, an adapter (10) and a profiling strip (11) clamped interchangeably against the fixed flange (3). The novel feature is that the closed head (2) includes an open recess (7) towards the fixed flange, which includes a removable flow channel insert (8)
