Open end spinner

摘要

The open-end spinner has a valve for the air feed which is operated by a mobile service unit, on splicing a broken yarn, and the valve opening is closed by a ball. The ball (21) is of a material which can be magnetised, and a magnet (52) is at the opening (18) of the valve (V) which is to be closed. The ball (21) is held by the magnet (52) on the sealing surface round the opening (18), when in the closed position.
