Production of storage-stable dispersion of amino-polyurethane

A process for the production of storage-stable aqueous dispersions of amino group-containing polyurethane(s) (PUR) comprises reacting: (a) PUR which is largely self-dispersible in water and contains isocyanate function(s) plus anionic group(s) or groups which can be converted into anionic groups by neutralisation, with (b) amine(s) with at least two sec. amine groups and less than 23 carbon atoms, containing no prim. amino groups and with a continuous chain of at least 3 C atoms between the sec. amino groups, and dispersing the system in water before or after reaction.
