<p>A plastic optical component having a plastic substrate (10) coated with a reflection prevention film (13) over the surface thereof. The reflection prevention film (13) is a multi-layer film which has a high refractivity material and a low refractivity material stacked alternately one upon the other with a first layer (131) on the plastic substrate side made of a substantially high refractivity material and the next layer (132) made of a low refractivity material. A plurality of the optical lens substrates (10), whose surfaces have a curvature, are arranged laterally and concentrically on a circular flat plate holder (26), which is laterally disposed and is rotating. The sputtering film making apparatus has a target (31) facing the surface of the plastic substrate (10). The film thickness correction plate is a film thickness adjusting mask member (51, 52) arranged between the target (31) and the holder (26) in a direction in which the peripheral part of the holder and its central portion are connected.</p> |
