<p>The present invention relates to an arrangement (3) for a wheelchair wheel (4) which comprises a wheel rim (1) and a driving ring (2) either permanently or detachably attached to the wheel (4), in conjunction with which a tyre (5) is so arranged as to be detachably connected to the wheel rim (1), and the wheel (4) exhibits a frame (7) attached to the wheel rim (1). The wheel rim (1) and the driving ring (2) can be formed from a common profile ring (6), and the wheel rim (1) is detachably attachable to said wheel frame (7). In accordance with the invention, the wheel rim (1) comprises a number of separate, curved divergent spokes (13, 14) extending radially from a centrally located hub (11), which spokes are attached to the rim.</p> |
