The transmitter and receiver combination includes a receiver (6) and a transmitter (1) which transmits radio signals. The receiver includes a sound source (10) whose transmitted signal is acoustically detectable within the entire transmission range from the location of the transmitter. Preferably, the receiver includes reception electronic (7) and has as the sound source a piezo sound source (13). The receiver has a holding clip (12) for attaching the receiver to clothes. Preferably, the transmitter has a range of approximately 40 m.
