Hoof cover esp. for horses

The hoof protector, especially for a horse, is shaped for a hoof with an adhesive on the inner surface. Steam is passed through perforations in the cover material to give the adhesive bond by diffusion, osmosis or capillary action into the hoof. The adhesive is pref. cyanoacrylate which can be distributed over the hoof, covered by a protective peel-off film, or a water soluble layer of polyvinyl alcohol or starch. The adhesive can also be a twin-component epoxy adhesive.
