Air moistening unit with compressed air atomiser and water supply

The air moistening unit has a control facility (50) for controlling at least one compressed air atomiser (1). This works in conjunction with the compressed air regulating unit (39) and/or the water pressure regulating system (35) and with at least one humidity sensor (46-49). The control facility is designed, to regulate the difference between the water pressure and the air pressure, depending on the humidity determined by the humidity sensor. With a suitable control of the compressed air and/or the water pressure regulating system (39,35), the system is operated so that the drop size of the mist sprayed from the atomiser alters, depending on the at least one humidity detected by the at least one humidity sensor.
