Piezoelectric or magnetostrictive actuator for rigid body with hydraulic multiplication

An electrical actuator for a rigid body has hydraulic multiplication to operate a positioning device, especially for operating a valve. It has a supply pressure chamber (4) filled with fluid which is bordered on one side by a membrane (3) connected to an actuator body (2) and on the other side by a spring-mounted plate body (5) of large area. The latter for its part borders one side of the transmission chamber (7) which on its other side is bordered by a spring-mounted piston body (8) of small area. The latter works on the positioning device. There is also a valve opening (21) in the plate body which connects the supply pressure chamber with the transmission chamber and which can be sealed by a valve body (22) connected to the membrane. The valve body forms a transmission device between the membrane and the plate body.
