Automotive clutch air-oil bleed valve

A clutch cylinder (1) has an air bleed valve with a connector (11) on one side of the cylinder, which also has an air inlet gate (13) linked to the cylinder (1) piston chamber. The air bleed connector also has air bleed passage (15) which is linked to the air inlet gate (13). The air bleed connector (11) also has a valve (25) which may be rotated such that an overhead passage (21) links the air output passage (15) with an outlet gate (17) as required. The valve (25) has a lever (23) which is moved by the operator to open or close the connection.
