WOOD-LIKE MOLDING, PROCESS FOR PREPARING THE SAME, AND COMPOSITION FOR MOLDING

A wood-like molding comprising a polymer (A) composed mainly of a polymethacrylic ester, an inorganic filler (B), and cellulosic microparticles (C) ¢preferably cellulosic microparticles (D)! each containing an inorganic pigment biting into the surface thereof; and a process for preparing a woodlike molding which comprises molding a starting composition by cast molding. The wood-like resin molding is free from fuzzing, exhibits a homogeneous woodlike pattern with satisfactory wood texture, is free from changes in appearance, such as uneven color, for a long period of time, and does not give any burned mark at the time of molding.
