The medical system toxifies several patients for monitoring and detoxifying the patients using anaesthetic devices (1). The number of anaesthetizing devices corresponds to the number of patients (P). The system has a monitoring centre with at least one display device and at least one control device (2). The system also has connection units which electrically connect the anaesthetizing devices and the control device (2). Preferably at least one image recording device (10) e.g. a camera is associated with the anaesthetizing devices (1). The control device is a control computer. The connection units have cables. The display device is a monitor.
