The hose structure has an elastic inner hose subjected to the forces of a pressure medium and an outer textile covering (2) of non-stretch yarns as a supporting braiding (6). The intersections or loops of the yarns are angled to give meshes in a polygon shape and of a constant size. The mesh fields (3) change according to the hose pressure, without a change in the mesh dimensions. The yarns are locked or knotted together at their intersections, so that they cannot pull away at the crossing points. The braiding is of mono- or multifilaments of polyamide, or of metal wires, and the hose is of plastics, such as silicon. The braiding is produced on a bobbin lace machine or a circular knitter.
