<p>PURPOSE:To provide an electric power steering device capable of obtaining the optimum auxiliary steering torque corresponding to the rapid steering such as emergency avoidance while the convergence of the behavior of a vehicle such as the lane change during the traveling at high speed is expedited. CONSTITUTION:An electric power steering device consists of a steering torque sensor 12, a steering rotational speed sensor 13, a control means 22, a motor driving means 16, and a motor 10. The control means 22 computes the correction value of the product of the torque attenuation coefficient RT corresponding to the torque signal T and the rotational speed control amount DN corresponding to the steering rotational speed signal N, and generates the motor control signal which is added or subtracted between the torque control amount DT corresponding to the torque signal and the correction value according to the forwarding or returning condition of the steering to obtain the auxiliary steering force by driving the motor 10 through the motor driving means 16.</p> |
