PURPOSE:To expand the line width of a ready-made figure at a high speed by shifting the respective dots of the figure to be increased in line width, which are stored in a 1st figure storage means, dot by dot, horizontally and vertically by one dot. CONSTITUTION:Dots can be added to the periphery of the contour of the figure to be increased in line width which are stored in the 1st figure storage means (dot matrix) 1 by shifting the respective dots, one by one, horizontally and vertically. The respective shifted dots are stored in a 2nd figure storage means (dot matrix) 2 and a figure is drawn according to the storage contents to increase its line width. The positions of the respective dots stored in the 2nd figure storage means 2 are supplied to the 1st figure storage means 1 and stored again, and the shifting operation is repeated to expand the line width of the figure to desired line width. Consequently, the line width of the ready-made figure can be expanded at a high speed. |
