The jig for the assembly of crate parts which can be dismantled comprises three parts. These are a cylindrical rod (2) of variable length and diameter formed to constitute a handle (4) in its upper part. There are two half rings (5) along its length and lugs (7) in its lower part. Hooks (2) are shaped to fit to the half rings. A drilled plate (3) enables passage of the rod and the lugs. The rod is held inside each corner of the crate by grooved wooden brackets (6). The drilled plate is inserted into each corner of the plinth (9).
