<p>This semi-hollow tyre especially intended for agricultural applications, is placed on a central tube (10), abutting other similar tyres, to form an assembly loosely-resembling a disk harrow. The central sheath (18) locates on the tube (10) and its opposite edges (20, 22) have complementary cross sections, fitting together with other, similar tyre edges. The tyre section (24) has a domed profile forming the tread (26), connected to the sheath by two flanks (28, 30). The foregoing sections enclose a smaller, hollow annular cavity (32). Also claimed is a roller, especially for agricultural use, constructed as described. This has end cheeks or projecting rims, which keep the tyre sections axially-located together.</p> |
