A counterpressure filling head has a gas restrictor 6 in the form of a spiral spring in the liquid outlet 5 to prevent the upward flow of counterpressure gas from the filled container. The head has a liquid valve 7 and a gas valve 17 within the liquid valve body and operated by means 14 engaging a flange 13 on a spindle 12. A gas tube 18 depends from the liquid valve, and a spring 8 raises the liquid valve from its seat. A snifter valve 22 is provided. |
