摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the navigator, which can compute speeds and distances in high accuracy even when deviation is generated in the output of an acceleration sensor by a plurality of causes. SOLUTION: Acceleration and speed are computed from the output of an acceleration sensor (G sensor) (S202). At the same timer, the position or bearing is computed by a GPS(global positioning system) and a gyro (S203 and S204). Then, the average value of the outputs of the G sensor when a moving body such as a vehicle is in the stopped state or the equal-speed running state is obtained, and offset correcting process for updating the offset value of the output of the G sensor is performed (S209). The speed resetting process for updating the speed data obtained from the output of the G sensor by the speed data obtained by the GPS position measurement in correspondence with the speed is performed (S210). Furthermore, the process for correcting the gain based on the ratio between the speed data obtained by the GPS position measurement under the equal acceleration state and the speed data obtained by the G sensor is performed (S211).
