PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove the painting film formed on the surface of the object, not using chemicals, by making the laser emitting lens height adjustable and by catching a gas and fine particles scattered from the surface of the processing object with a filter in a passage. SOLUTION: A condensing lens holding unit 24 is controlled to approach to a suitable height by making a comparison, by a height control device 26, of heights between the one pre-memorized as a suitable and the other detected by a censer 25. Owing to the height control, an abrasion can always be conducted at a desired energy density. The laser beam emitting position is swept in a direction of X axle by a polariscope 22 and then in a direction of Y axle by a polariscope 21. The laser beam emitting position is then swept again in an X axle direction by the polariscope 22 and emits the laser beam to the same area as the previous swept done. The painted film on a certain face area of the object 1 is to be removed. Scattered articles are sucked in by a nozzle 41 and are caught by the membrance filter of 0.45 μm. |
