PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retaining device for light-receiving member in a xerographic CRU. SOLUTION: A belt 10 in a CRU 200 is retained by a retaining device, and is retained in a prescribed shape so as to be slid easily in a driving module without coming into contact with any other device forming element. The device is constituted of a plurality of fingers 400, which retains the belt 10 at a prescribed position at the time of shipment and installation. When the CRU 200 is installed and an interlock handle is turned, the belt 10 is released from the fingers 400 and is disposed at an operational position supported on the driving module. When the CRU 200 is dismounted, and the handle is turned in an opposite direction, the belt 10 is caught again by the fingers 400, and is retained in such a shape as is capable of being dismounted easily from the driving module. |
