PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain digital image data suitable for respective image pickup photosensing materials with a simple calibration processing in the case of reading the image under a same condition for each image pickup photosensitive material. SOLUTION: A patch image for calibration information is printed and exposed on a film N in advance, and the image is visualized in the same way as a case employing a frame image through a thermal development processing. In the case that image data received by a data sorting section 124 are discriminated to be the patch image, the data are given to a correction value-arithmetic section 128 from the data sorting section 124, a reference exposure curve (gamma curve) and a gamma curve based on the read patch image are compared, the correction value is calculated and the value is given to an image data conversion section 130. Data of each frame are corrected by the correction value. |
