PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide excellent adhesive properties and film viewer suitability of a thermal recording layer by incorporating water dispersible adhesive, blue pigment and dye in an anchor coating layer. SOLUTION: Adding amounts of blue pigment and dye are set so that maximum absorbance in a light wavelength of 550 to 690 nm of a transparent film after an anchor coat is provided is 0.10 to 0.50 or preferably 0.10 to 0.25. Acidic blue dye easily forms a uniform anchor coating layer. The pigment obtains an excellent effect of adhesive properties of a thermal recording layer with the coating layer as compared with the dye. A use of water dispersible adhesive contained in the coating layer is 10 to 99 wt.% to the total solid amount of the coating layer or preferably 30 to 70 wt.%. The adhesive is contained in a form of latex in coating liquid for the coating layer. Urethane latex has excellent adhesive properties and two or more types can be incorporated therein. |
