PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce the new subject peptide by imparting a sugar chain to a substance P of neurergic peptide obtained by transferring conjugated polysaccharide to a synthesized peptide containing N-acetyl-D-glucosamine residue in the presence of endoglycosidase. SOLUTION: This new conjugated glycopeptide is a substance P derivative having a sugar chain of formula I (R<1> is H-Arg-Pro-Lys-Pro or H; R<2> is a conjugated type sugar chain, high mannose type sugar chain or a mixed type sugar chain), has a solubility improved by the sugar chain added thereto, and further improved stability and pharmacological action, and can provide a neurergic pharmacologically active conjugated glycopeptide having high efficiency. The new conjugated glycopeptide derivative is obtained by transferring a conjugated sugar chain to a synthesized peptide having N-acetyl-D-glucosamine residue of formula II, etc., in the presence of endoglycosidase. |
