<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an established cell line of cells related to a self regeneration mechanism of a muscle tissue for elucidating the self generation mechanism of the muscle tissue in order to apply the treatment of diseases related to the muscle tissue. SOLUTION: This established cell line is originated from muscle blast cells differentiated from skeletal muscle satellite cells, and has following properties. (a) The cells proliferate in a Dulbecco's modified Eagle minimum essential medium having 10% bovine fetus serum concentration. (b) In the case of culturing the cells in the Dulbecco's modified Eagle minimum essential medium having <=2% bovine fetus serum concentration, the cells do not differentiate to myotube cells and stop the cell proliferation the state of mononuclear cells. (c) When the cells stopping their proliferation in the state of mononuclear cells are re- proliferated in the Dulbecco's modified Eagle minimum essential medium having 10% bovine fetus serum concentration, and then re-proliferated in the Dulbecco's modified Eagle minimum essential medium having <=2% bovine fetus serum concentration, a part of cells differentiate to the myotube cells.</p> |
